I am doing a Drupal project right now, I took the project hoping to pick up some good ideas for MvcCms.
One of the ideas in Drupal I like is the ideas of breaking content down into nodes and blocks. Basically you define a node as any type of piece of text or html and then make blocks that can represent any size box or page placement.
I think when I get done with this Drupal project I will get a version of 2.0 out and then do a node/block implementation for MvcCms. I guess this means the ECommerce part is getting pushed off even further unless someone wants to flush it out.
Edit:
Just spent like 30 hours going over azure and setting up mvccms to run in azure and after configuring, and reading help, and configuring, and configuring, and learning eventually I came to the firm conclusion that all I can say about Azure for now is... NO.
But I can also say that MySQL support in MvcCms is something that is coming. Many applications might need transparent data encryption (TDE) and this can be had my MySQL for 300 bucks a year vs. MSSQL 12k dollars a year as it is only in the Enterprise version.
