We have a pretty good start on MvcCms 2.0. In the source at Codeplex we have the forum converted to a single area project. This went pretty well as advertised for the preview 2 so hopefully the final MVC 2.0 version won't change too much from that.
Also we found a ThemeviewEngine at Dimebrain by Daniel Crenna that will allow complete control over the css, masterpage, and script for each view and even the controls on each view.  
I am going to go over it a little more and then put a working version up to start to test it all.
